> Personalizing the Balanced Scorecard

The balanced scorecard displays key performance indicators (KPIs) and their scores for users on the Home page. KPIs are user-defined parameters that measure productivity or efficiency associated with processes and/or work order-related activities. Datastream 7i displays an icon on the balanced scorecard for each KPI that enables users to view the status of their work environment with respect to the KPIs specific to their job, as well as the current score for each KPI.

After defining KPIs, grant users access to the KPIs. KPIs can either be user-group specific or general. General KPIs can be displayed for all users. Define system privileges for users to personalize their balanced scorecard to display KPIs based on their preferences.

After personalizing the balanced scorecard, the system administrator must start the KPI driver to enable Datastream 7i to recalculate scores for the balanced scorecard based on the specified interval for each KPI.
