Create regular work orders to repair broken equipment, modify equipment to meet safety and environmental standards, perform any other work order during a normal workday, and to record information concerning equipment problems. Work orders can either be independent or part of a much larger project.
Define the specific work order activities to perform for the work order on the Activities page. Define the trades necessary to perform the work, the specific steps involved, the stock materials required, and the work duration. Specify whether labor needs to be specially ordered. After task completion, indicate that an activity is completed.
Add further instructions about the work order to the Comment page. View the work orders that are part of this work order on the Child work orders page.
If you previously specified a standard work order, Datastream 7i automatically displays the activities of the standard work order. You can change the information as necessary.
